I set up The Actors Hut to create a welcoming space where actors, aspiring actors and anyone curious about acting can come together to explore different styles and techniques.
I’m a trained actor, teacher and coach, with experience teaching in universities, colleges, and schools. My approach is collaborative and practical — we learn by doing, sharing ideas and supporting each other as we develop skills and confidence.
Using tried-and-tested techniques from influential practitioners, my aim is to offer a nurturing, relaxed environment where we can explore acting, practise skills and have fun along the way.
I want to create a fun, engaging and nurturing space, where we can learn from each other while exploring tried-and-tested techniques from influential practitioners in acting and performance.
Together, we’ll explore individuality through storytelling and character development in a positive, expressive way. The training is open to everyone - whether you’re continuing to practise your acting skills or trying acting for the very first time.
Whatever stage you’re at in life, it’s never too late to learn something new or pursue something you’ve always wanted to try.
My aim is to offer a place where you can explore different approaches to acting in a supportive, relaxed environment, feeling free to express your individuality and creativity.
I am passionate about providing a safe and collaborative space for anyone who has always wanted to learn about acting techniques, as well as those who want to continue to practice their skills.
I offer individual coaching for actors, including preparation for drama school auditions and self-taping skills. Together, we’ll explore monologues that suit you and bring them to life, or work through scripts to fully embody your characters. My approach brings the text to life by exploring its language, story and character, guiding you to connect fully with the work and perform with honesty and impact.
