Stepping out of your comfort zone can feel daunting - but it can also be incredibly liberating. All we ask is that you come with an open mind and a generous spirit.
Whether you’re new to acting or looking to refine your skills, this is a space to learn, experiment and enjoy the craft of acting.

Explore Acting with The Actors Hut
At The Actors Hut, we explore acting by focusing on being in the moment and discovering more about yourself—who you are in those moments and what unique qualities you have to offer. Our workshops combine improvisation and text work, using acting techniques designed to help you develop both your skills and your understanding of performance.
We run regular workshops at St John’s Methodist Church in Whitley Bay.

Taster Session:

Following the taster, a five-week course will run weekly starting:

• £10 per workshop
• £48 when booking all five sessions in advance
These workshops are open to anyone with an interest in acting — whether you’re new to performance, curious about acting techniques, or looking to continue developing and practising your skills.
The emphasis is on creating a fun, supportive and engaging environment, where we learn from each other while gaining an understanding of a range of acting methodologies and practices.
